Case in point: Our Pambansang Kamao playing with the Samsung Gear VR. Yep, the Pac-Man had his destructive hands on one of the latest virtual reality gizmos in town, and we can't help but get an eensie-weensie bit jealous.

Based on his giggles, Pacquiao clearly loved the short VR trip. For those not in the know, the Gear VR is a headset wherein a compatible handset (e.g. Galaxy Note 4) is placed (on the eye portion of the device) to deliver virtual reality eye-candy. It's actually a partnership between Samsung and Oculus (creators of the Oculus Rift), so it's safe to say the brains behind the Gear VR know what they're doing.

An official consumer launch is coming soon although a development kit is now available for developers in the US for $200 (around P9,000). As for us here in Pinas, well, we'll have to wait for further announcements from Sammy.
